Trouble Entering Code on Android Device?
We Hear You! A Note About Your Recent App Experience (September 18, 2024)
We understand that encountering technical difficulties can be frustrating, especially when it affects something as important as your spiritual journey. We've heard from some TTW users that after a recent update requesting a user migrate their account and request a code, the code cannot be entered on Android devices.
We want to assure you that we're aware of this issue and are working diligently to resolve it. Your patience and understanding during this time are greatly appreciated. Here are a few potential temporary fixes:
OPTION 1
Change your keyboard settings to "floating" on your Android device (watch video tutorial):
- On your Android device, open the Settings app
- Select General Management
- Select Samsung Keyboard Settings
- Under Mode, and select "floating"
- Go back and request a new code, and try entering it again
OPTION 2
Enable split screen on your Android device (watch video tutorial):
- Open the app you want to use in split screen mode
- Tap the Recent apps button
- Long-press the app icon you want to use in split screen (select any other app)
- Drag the app icon to the Split screen option
- Tap another app in the second screen
- Request a new code, and try entering it again
If that doesn't work, as a temporary workaround, please try the following:
- Utilize TTW's web app in your mobile or desktop browser: This will allow you to access the app and navigate to your current plan.
- Re-enter your account once the app is working again: Your account progress is saved, so you won't lose your place.
While not ideal, this should help you continue your Bible journey while we work on a permanent solution.
