My card is on file- why isn't my recurring donation working?

Great question! Even if your payment method is saved, there's one additional step needed to activate autopay for your recurring donation. After adding or updating a card, you’ll need to go to the Recurring Payments section and assign that card to your recurring gift.

If that step is missed, the system won’t know which card to use for the automatic donation. Once assigned, your donation should process smoothly moving forward.
